Stuart Team Wins º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Round of the CFA Research Challenge
The Stuart School team has won the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× round of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute’s Annual Research Challenge, finishing first against teams from Loyola University º£½ÇÂÒÂ× (2nd), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (3rd), University of Illinois at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×, and Valparaiso University. Team members include team leader Salonie Sehgal, Venkata Chintaluri, Thai (Samuel) Doan, Ming-Tao Lee, and Rasinee (Por) Pongchairerks. Providing expert coaching to the team is Faculty Advisor Michael Rybak, Senior Lecturer of Finance.
This win marks the fifth time in five years a Stuart team has placed in the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Local Level Final competition and the fourth time the team has won. They now advance to the Regional Final competition, where they will represent the CFA º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Chapter.
