Howard A. Tullman Inducted into º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Innovation Hall of Fame

Howard Tullman, executive director the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship at Illinois Tech, was inducted into the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Innovation Hall of Fame on Wednesday at the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Innovation Un-Gala event in º£½ÇÂÒÂ×. Tullman was one of five distinguished leaders in innovation honored for their work in helping grow º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s innovation community.

Tullman, along with about 400 business and civic leaders representing big businesses, emerging startups, investors, and technology, gathered for the annual event held at Morgan Manufacturing, located in º£½ÇÂÒÂ×’s meatpacking district.

Other inductees included: Andrea Zopp, president and CEO of World Business º£½ÇÂÒÂ×; Hedy Ratner, co-founder and president emeritus of Women’s Business Development Center; Chris Gladwin, founder of Cleversafe and founder of Ocient; and Ed Wehmer, founder and CEO of Wintrust.

Tullman began as executive director of the Kaplan Institute in May and was previously the CEO of startup incubator 1871 º£½ÇÂÒÂ×.
