School of Applied Technology Dean Bob Carlson, Ph.D., testified at the Senate Energy & Public Utilities Sub-Committee on Energy Innovation. Along with Mohammed Shahidehpour, Ph.D., Professor and Director of the Galvin Center for Electricity, they provided an overview of āArtificial Intelligence and Use of Artificial Intelligence in Managing the Myriad of Data in the Energy Sector.ā They also discussed smart grid technology and research in smart grid and AI applications and case studies in the energy sector.
